BNFTS Integrative Health Clinic (“BNFTS”, “we”) operates this website. This policy explains what personal information the site collects, why, and what happens to it.
It applies to the website only. Your clinical records are handled separately, under the obligations that apply to regulated health professionals in British Columbia and the policies of the practitioner you see. Ask the clinic for those.
You choose whether to submit any of this. Nothing is sent until you tick the consent box.
Whatever you put in an email or tell us on the phone.
Our host keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser, pages requested — for security and reliability. We do not run advertising or analytics cookies on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
The Benefits Analyzer will not submit anything without your explicit consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing jaipaul@bnfts.ca, and we will delete what we hold.
We use a small number of service providers, each receiving only what it needs:
Some of these providers store or process data outside Canada, which means it may be subject to the laws of the country it is held in.
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet applicable legal and professional requirements. Clinical records are retained according to the requirements that apply to your practitioner, including any additional requirements for children and young people.
When information is no longer needed and can legally be removed, it is securely deleted, destroyed or de-identified.
Submissions travel over an encrypted connection and are stored in an access-controlled database. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise.
Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, you can ask us:
Email our Privacy Officer at jaipaul@bnfts.ca. We will respond within 30 days.
This site is not directed at children, and the Benefits Analyzer is intended for adults managing their own benefits plan.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
If you have questions about how your personal information is handled, would like to request access or a correction, or want to raise a privacy concern, please contact:
Jaipaul Dhaliwal
Privacy Officer, BNFTS

If your request concerns records held by an independent practitioner, we’ll help connect you with the right person.
